Present: Mayor Gentry T. Jones
Aldermen-- Jimmy Gantt, C. E. Ottaway R. B. Whisenant
and Phil Pringle. B.J. Enloe-absent
Mr. C.E. Ottaway reported to the council that our
Attorney, Mr. Orr, is to send a contract to him to discuss with
the council on the garbage pickup.
Mr. Stephenson was present to discuss the sewer line that
was washed out in the Whisenant Estates. He said that J.M.
Whisenant was willing to put a check-dam along the line to stop erosin.
Motion by C.E.Ottaway that the plat shown by Mr.
Stephens on the Whisenant Estates Installment #5 be approved.
Seconded by Jimmy Gantt. Motion passed-Ayes 4, noes none.
Mr. Ferod was present to show to city council the
city map with the lost numbers as he had listed them.
Motion by C.E. Ottaway to pay bills presented by
the City Secretary. Seconded by R.B. Whisenant. Motion passed
Ayes 4, Noes none.
Motion to adjorne meeting by C.E. Ottaway.
