IMeeting Minutes- Wednesday, July 13, 2011
The meeting was held at the Allen Animal Shelter and convened at 7:00 p m. Present at the meeting
were members Lon Braselton, Dr. Alan Coffman, Joey Allette, Dawn Blue and Vikki Francis.
Chairperson, Lon Braselton, called the meeting to order at 7:01 p.m.
Approval of the Minutes from October 27, 2010
The minutes were approved by unanimous consent.
Council Liaison
Jeff Me Gregor was absent from meeting.
Discussion
Vikki Francis advised the Re -Grand Opening was held January 22, 21111 and kicked off microchipping
to the public. Only did seven (7) microchips that day and there was not a lot of the public that can for
the ribbon cutting or the tour of the shelter. Mayor Terrell stayed till around 2:00 pm doing video for
ACTV and taking people on tours through the shelter.
Vikki Francis advised the Annual Report for the city would be coming out in August.
Items of Interest
Vikki Francis advised that the Event Center was going to hold a Pet Expo in September and would
need help from the committee if they could.
