Meeting Minutes, Wednesday June 8, 2005
The meeting was held at the Allen Police Training Room and convened at 7:00 p.m. Present at the
meeting were members Lon Braselton, Joey Allette, Dr. Mike Overton , Vikld Francis and Bill
Ameser.
Chairperson, Lon Braselton, called the meeting to order at 7:00 p.m.
Approval of the Minutes from February 16, 2005
The minutes were approved by unanimous consent.
Citizens Comments
No citizens were present at the meeting.
Discussion of Grants and Spay/Neuter Proeram
Vikki Francis advised that the spay/neuter program, continuing with the grants should be put on hold
until the new ordinance goes in front of the council on July 12, 2005.
Also, the follow up to all the veterinarians should wait until after the council meeting July 12, 2005
Items of Interest
The ordinance is being proposed to change all adoption fees to $70 which will include a voucher for
sterilization. After the council meeting set up an emergency meeting to discuss the changes that are
approved. Lon Braselton will email everyone with a date.
Next Meetina/Adiourn
The next meeting was set for August 17, 2005 at 7:00 p.m. at the Police Training Room. Lon
Braselton adjourns the meeting at 7:39 p.m.
