Meeting Minutes, Wednesday June 20, 2006
The meeting was held at the Allen Police Training Room and convened at 7:30 p.m. Present at the
meeting were members Lon Braselton, Joey Allette, Bill Ameser and Vikki Francis. Dr. Mike Overton
was absent.
Chairperson, Lon Braselton, called the meeting to order at 7:30p.m
Approval of the Minutes from February 15,2006
The minutes were approved by unanimous consent.
Citizens Comments
No citizens were present at the meeting.
Council Liaison
Mark Pacheco absent from meeting.
Animal is Disaster
Lon Braselton advised we need to get an outline for the equipment and data needed. Come up with a
checklist (inventory) of all items used in disasters. Bill Ameser will make contact with rescue groups
to see if they would like do to a joint effort. Vikki Francis will get a list of crate sizes and local food
companies that will donate.
1 Vikki Francis advised that the ASPCA has evaluation packets, disaster training manuals, and all
paperwork needed to get started. Need to get information back to Lon Braselton within thirty (30)
days.
CIP Bond
Lon Braselton advised he was on the Public Safety Committee and had attended two (2) meetings so
far. The CIP committee considered the Animal Shelter expansion second in ranking from the list and
that the need was necessary Lon advised the next two (2) meetings were scheduled for June 29, 2006
and July 11, 2006.
Items of Interest
Evaluation of the committee needs to be done and turned in.
Next Meeting/Adiourn
The next meeting was set for September 27, 2006 at 7:00 p.m. at the Police Training Room. Lon
Braselton adjourns the meeting at 8:07 p.m.
