1 The meeting was held at the Allen Animal Shelter and convened at 7:04p.m. Present at the meeting
were members Justin Schiffner, Sheila Brauning, Kathryn May, Dr. Coffman, and Allison Harper.

Approval of the Minutes from July 17, 2014
The minutes from the Julyl7, 2014 were approved by Dr. Coffman and Kathryn May
Items of Interest
Welcomed our newest member, Sheila Brauning.
Election of officers - Justin Schiffner was nominated as the Board Chair by Dr. Coffman. Kathryn
May seconded his nomination. Sheila Brauning was nominated as Board Vice -Chair by Dr. Coffman,
which was also seconded by Kathryn May
Allison Harper advised the board about the new collaboration with PetSmart charity Because of this
partnership, the shelter will have adoption events at the local PetSmart.
The board discussed the addition of the Senior ACO position.
