Special meeting
of
The City Councel of the City of Allen, Allen, Tex.
Called by Mayor Gentry T, Jones, for the purpose of dis-
cussing with Mr J.D. Buchanan, Jr. (with Walker-Austin &
Waggener of Dallas) the sale of $ 50,000.00 worth of sewer bonds.
Present : Mayor Gentry T. Jones -- Aldermen Jimmy Gantt
Ken Posey, Dan Strong and Bill Enloe. Absent R.B. Whisenant
Mayor Jones ponted out to the Council that their would
be a saving of about $ 2,000.00 by selling $50,000.00 of th
Sewer system Tax Bonds at the same time we sell the 50,000.
of Street Improvement Bonds. If they are sold seprate
their would be a $ 1,000.00 charge for each issuance, if
sold together their would-not be any charge, acording to Mr
Buchanan.
Motion : By Bill Enloe that the Council authorize Mr. J.D.
Buchanan Jr. to go ahead with the sale of the 100,000.00
worth of Bonds as follows; $ 50,000.00 of Street Improvement Bonds
$ 50,000.00 of Sewer System Tax Bonds.
Motion second by Jimmy Gantt

Discussion : of the Council in regard to the Trash haul
just what too do at the end of the 6-month trial peroid which
is set up with Mr. Spurgin.
