May 6th, 1965
Present: Mayor Gentry T. Jones.
Alderman: Jimmy Gantt, Ken Posey, Dan Strong and
B.J. Enloe.
Meeting called to order by Mayor Gentry T. Jones.
Motion by Jimmy Gantt that the Mayor have the City Attorney
check contract with Uvalde Construction Co. on street paving.
Seconded by Dan Strong. Motion Passed--Ayes 4, noes none.
Motion by Jimmy Gantt to pay bills presented by the City
Secretary. Seconded by B. J. Enloe. Motion passed--Ayes 4,
noes none.

Motion by B. J. Enloe to have our City Engineer check
West Ave. C. North for the purpose of paving the sides of
this street from Highway 2170 to Highway 5 at the Texaco
Service Station and also to get bids for 3 ft. shoulder on
each side. Seconded by Jimmy Gantt. Motion passed--Ayes 4,
noes none.
City Council decided to table the Sewer Project on
South Second West from West Ave. C. South (West) to Highway
75 for the present time,
Motion by Jimmy Gantt authorizing the Mayor to instruct
the City Attorney to go ahead with the condemnation suit on the
Moulden Property, Seconded by Ken Posey. Motion passed--
Ayes 4, noes none.
