Call to Order and Announce a Ouorum is Present
With a quorum of the Board members present, the Special Called Meeting of the Allen Public Library was
called to order by Board Chair, Jo Long, at 7:30 p.m. on Monday February 26, 2007 in the Computer Lab of the
Allen Public Library, 300 North Allen Drive, Allen, Texas.

Brainstorm Regarding Library 40° Anniversary.
The library board discussed various ideas for the Library's 40 Anniversary. It was decided that a
committee was needed to plan and promote ideas and programs for the library's anniversary Donna
Drews Various volunteered to chair the committee.
The board discussed inviting other Allen businesses and organizations to participate in the library's
anniversary Donna Drews Various volunteered to compose a letter and send it out to the various
businesses and organizations inviting them to help in planning the events and being a part of them.
