Present: Mayor Gentry T. Jones
Aldermen: Jimmy Gantt, Ken Posey and Dan Strong
Absent: Aldermen: R.B. Whisenant and B.J. Enloe
PURPOSE OF THIS MEETING--TO DISCUSS THE POSSIBILITY OF BUYING
THE MOULDEN PROPERTY FOR THE FUTURE SEWER SIGHT.
Motion by Dan Strong to instruct our City Attorney,
Mr. Alex Orr, to purchase the 129 acre tract of land from Mr.
Moulden for the sum of $100,000 for a future sewer sight for
the City of Allen. Seconded by Jimmy Gantt. Motion Passed--
Ayes 3, Noes none.
Motion by Ken Posey for the Fire Department to buy
two (2) 55 gallon drums of mesquito insectocide for spraying
mesquitos. Seconded by Jimmy Gantt. Motion Passed--Ayes 3,
Noes none.
