Members present : Mayor Gentry T. Jones, Aldermen, Ken Posey,
R.B. Whisenant and Dan Strong. Absent, Bill Enloe and Jimmy Gantt.
Minutes read and approved.
Mr. James H. Perry was present to discuss the Housing & Urban
Development Act of 1965, with interest to City Planners for the
future. Mr. Perry recommended that the Council talk with Mr.
Bob Cox of 300 West Victory St. Fort, Worth, Texas.
Motion by, Ken Posey to pay the Attorneys Fee on the condemnation
Suit Sec. by Bill Whisenant, Motion passed, Ayes 3, noes )0(
Abernathy & Orr $446.15 - Harvey L. Davis $500.00.
Mr. Skiles our City Engineer showd the Council the Paving Plans
for the intersections to the Streets coming in off of Hi-Way 5
and where East ave. C south and Watson Drive intersects.
Motion by Dan Strong that the plans on the Street intersections
off of Hi-Way # 5 be presented to the State Hi-Way department.
Second by Bill Whisenant, motion passed, Ayes 3 - noes 0.
Motion by Bill Whisenant to pay bills presented by the City Secy.
Second by Dan Strong, motion passed, ayes 3--noes 0.
Motion by R.B. Whisenant to prepare WARRENTS in the amount of
$16,000.00 with the ALLEN STATE BANK second by Dan Strong
motion passed --ayes 3--noes 0.
Mr. Alex Orr our City attorney is to draw up warrents, and also
an Ordinance for annexing the property of Robert Lowman.
