Aldermen : Jimmy Gantt, Ken Posey, Dan Strong.

Minutes of former meeting read and approved .
Motion made by Jimmy Gantt for Mayor Jones to write letter to
the Housing & Home Finance Agency commending them on the fine
job they are doing in helping us to modernize our city. Motion
seconed by Dan Strong, passed , Ayes 3 Nos 0.
Motion made by Ken Posey that the Council approve a call meeting
for the people of Allen in the near future. Purpose of meeting
will be to discuss Housing & Home Finance Program. Second by
Jimmy Gantt, motion passed, Ayes 3 Noes 0.
Mayor Jones read the planning Commission program and discussed
the duties of the Planning Committee and what they are expected
to do. Motion by Jimmy Gantt to adopt the City Planning
Commission & Zoning, with three members. With subject
to change in number of members.Motion second by Ken Posey
passed, Ayes 3 Noes 0.
Motion made by Jimmy Gantt to pay bill presented by City Secretary.
Second by Ken Posey, passed Ayes 3 Noes 0.
Motion made by Jimmy Gantt to put rock on roads in Stubbs Edition.
Second by Dan Strong, passed, Ayes 3 Noes 0.
