Call to Order and Announce a Quorum is Present
With a quorum of the Parks and Recreation Board present, Chair Smiddy called the
meeting to order at 7:00 p.m. on Monday,August 12, 2019, in the Multipurpose
Room of the Allen Senior Recreation Center at 451 St. Mary Drive, Allen,Texas.
1) Review Design Concepts for Rolling Hills Park Improvements
Staff in conjunction with Jack Myers of DCBA Landscape Architecture reviewed the
current land use,presented concept diagrams and schematic designs, discussed traffic
flow and addressed a potential road closure between the existing park and the newly
purchased land.
2) Receive Public Input
Following the presentation, the floor was opened for citizen questions and comment.

Staff from Community Services, Engineering, Fire Department and Parks and
Recreation answered questions and responded to concerns as appropriate. Comment
cards were also available for those wanting to leave input but not wishing to speak.
3) Adjourn
Meeting adjourned at 8:59 p.m.
These minutes approved on the 11th day of November 2019.
