Present : Mayor Gentry T. Jones
Aldermen : R.B. Whisenant, Mack Holloway, Zack Robinson
and LeRoy Ewen.
Absent : J.D. Smith.
Mr. Robert Lowman and James Marion was present to discuss
the Zoning on the Methodist Church Property, the Council
informed them , that best time too consider the re-zoning
would be at the time of the sale of such property.
Discussion : About buying a Fogging Machine for the City of Allen.
Motion : By R.B. Whisenant that we buy the Fogging Machine at a
price quoted at app. $ 435.00. Motion second by LeRoy
Ewen. Motion passed. Ayes 4 noes 0.
Motion : By R.B. Whisenant to leave the Tax Rate at $1.10 for the
year 1967, same as last year. Motion second by Mack
Holloway. Motion passed ayes 4 noes 0.
Motion : By Zack Robinson to order 4 TRUCK ROUTE SIGNS to keep
heavy trucks on the main through-fare. Motion second
by LeRoy Ewen. Motion passed ayes 4 noes 0 .
