Aldermen : R.B. Whisenant, LeRoy Ewen
J.D. Smith and Mack Holloway.
Discussions: Mr. Ewen reported on the traffic condiation at
the Grade School, he says it is very dangerous and
should be something done before their is some-one
hurt, perhaps hire a day-time Police to be at the
School when traffic is heavy.
Also discussed fixing the Alley on the west side
of Cundiff Grocery, Ave AA south by Mrs. Grant Thomas'
place, perhaps hire someone with a maintainer too
do some grading on the City Streets.
Mrs. Jimmie staff is asking for a Permite to put
a 12x24 ft. bldg. on lot 1-2-3-4-5-6 Blk. 2 OD. to
use with the Nursery, the City Councel ask Mrs
Starr to get a signed statement from the (2) two
neighbors in the same block that they have no
Objections, before the City Councel will approve
the Permite.
Motion: By LeRoy Ewen too pay the Bills presented by the
City Secretary, Motion second by Mack Holloway
Motion passed ayes (4) four noes (0) none.
