SPECIAL MEETING OF
City Council - City of Allen
Allen, Texas
Present : Mayor Gentry T. Jones
Aldermen : Mack Holloway, Robert Lowman,
J.D. Smith and LeRoy Ewen.
Mr. Robert Lowman our newley appointed Councilman was given the
Oath of Office by Mayor Gentry T. Jones .
Mr Walter F. Hicks Jr. , our Engineer to bring the City Council
up to date on the progress of the new well. Mr Hicks showed the
Council a LOG on the WELL which indicates we have a good well.
Motion was made by LeRoy Ewenfor Mayor Jones to go ahead with
the contract on buying the (10) Ten acres of land, for the sum of
$17, 500.00
Motion was second by J.D. Smith.
Motion passed ayes (4) four - noes (0) none.
