Present :
Mayor Gentry T. Jones
Aldermen LeRoy Ewen, Dan Strong, Robert Lowman and Mack Holloway.
Visoters W.E. Ford, Earl Young, Claud Whitaker and David Worden.
Mr Ford had some queations on the City Election, how-many are to be
elected in the coming election of April 6th 1968? He was informed
that (2) two Councilmen would be elected at this time.
Mr Young informed the Council that the Street in front of
the Kindergarten School needed some work.
Mrs Ruth Pringle came in and wanted to know if the City had any
LIABILITY INSURANCE ON THE LIBARARY.
A propsed ordinance to controle animals in general was discussed
Mayor Jones asked the Council too study said ordinance and recomend
any changes they might deam necessary. After some changes were made
the ordinance was sent to Mr Orr our City attorney for corrections.
Discussion about old wreck cars at the Allen Mobil Home Park in-
side the City Limits of the City of Allen. A letter is to be written
to MR Charles B. Pifen owner of the Park about moving said wreckage.
Motion by Robert Lowman to pay bills, motion second by Dan Strong
Motion passed by a vote of (3) three for none against.
The Council asked that Mr L.R. Buck's bill for labor at the Sewer
plant be deducted from his water bill.
