Present : Mayor Frank Dugger
Councilmen Dan Strong,Mack Holloway, Claud Whitaker and
LeRoy Ewen.
Engineer, Walter F. Hicks Jr.
Attorney, Alex Orr
E.L. Dement of Plano, talked with the Council about moving a house
of approximately 1300 sq. ft. on LOT 3-Blk H- OD, East Avenue C north.
Mr. Dement showed a picture of the house also a plat.
Motion by Dan Strong to let Mr Dement move said house in after he
has secured a permit from the City. Motion second by LeRoy Ewen,
motion passed ayes (4) four - noes (0) none.
Ed Lynge and Roy A. Hefner showed a plat on the Whis-Lynge Hill
addition, which indicated some miner changes.
David Worden informer the Council that Mrs Perry Moseley and
Mrs Phil Pringle had been appointed on the Libarary Board.
Motion by Dan Strong and second by LeRoy Ewen that these two ladys
be accepted by the City Council as members of said Board .
Motion passed ayes 4 noes 0.
Alex Orr our Attorney talked with the Council about furnishing
Water for residence along Hi-Way 5 between Allen And Fairview. Mr
Orr states that Allen might take this property into the City limits
of Allen, and or work out a deal too furnish Water through the Fair-
view Water System.
Mayor Dugger asked for a letter from Mr McGraw Attorney for the
Town of Fairview, stating just what they want and what they propose
too do.
Don Terrell asked to move a house in 28'X28' to small.
Motion by LeRoy Ewen that the Council APPOINT Mr. ROBERT LOWMAN
to finish out the unexpired term of J.D. Smith which ends as of
April 1969. Motion second by Mack Holloway. Motion passed (4) four
for / none (0) against.
Mr Hicks talked too the Council as to information on City Planing
The Council said they would like to meet with City PLANER for a
discussion. Mr Hicks says their is GRANT FUNDS available for such
a project.
Motion by Dan Strong too pay bills, motion sec.by Mack Holloway,
motion passed ayes (4) four noes (0) none.
