Aldermen Dan Strong, Robert Lowman, C.D. Whitaker,
Roy Ewen and Mack Holloway.
Discussions : About hiring a City Police
desided to run add in paper for Police
Make some decision at next regular meeting
Write letter to Hubert Jones about.,recking yard
and hogs
Write Mr Roth about selling on the Street with-out
a permit
Write Mr Lloyde Dement about house & trash
Where and what too build for dog pound
Order some Street signs for the School
Get Buck Holmes to fix water leak on south 2nd
Street West.
Check with Jerry Carpenter about oiling some of
our Streets where the dust is bad.
Motion : By Roy Ewen That Dan Strong be appointed Mayor
Pro-Tem. Motion second by Mack Holloway. Motion
passed ayes L , noes none . One obstained, (Dan) .
Motion : By Roy Ewen too pay bills , sec. by Mr Whitaker,
motion passed ayes 5 noes 0.
Motion : By Robert Lowman that any House to be moved in or
built in Allen shall not be less than 1000 feet in
the living emm area.
Motion sec.by Dan Strong. Motion
passed ayes 5 noes 0.
Next regular meeting of the City Council will be held Monday
July 1st 1968, this change was made because of the July 4th
holloaay coming on our regular meeting date.
