City Council City of Allen, Allen Texas
Present :
Mayor Frank bugger. Aldermen Mack Holloway, Robert E. Lowman,
C.D. Whitaker, Roy Ewen and Dan Strong.
Engineer Walter Hicks, Building Inspector Mr. V. Richardson.
Also several builders were here to discuss a building
inspection code for the City of Allen.
The City is to have CARDS printed for posting with- building permit
number - Lot & Block number - House number - Street Address & ect.
Fire Station; the CITY Council would like to meet with the
ARCHITECT to recomend some changes in the designing of the new
Fire Station.
Has the Fire Insurance Commission been checked with, regarding
the location of the Fire Station?
Our Engineer Mr. Hicks talked about the Sewer Pumps and Moters
for a Lift Station in the Hillside Village addition. Mr Hicks
says that the size of the Pumps and Motors recommended would be
OK for the number of houses that is to be on this line from the
Jan Mar Development .
To this date no plat has been submitted for approval on re-
routing of Sewer Line along old Hi-Way 6.
Mr. Hicks also states that the City of Allen will-not be able
too furnish Water too the Hillside Village addition, Until the
Sewer is completed and tied into our Sewer Lines .
The Council discussed an Ordinance on moving Cars from the
Streets, where they had been left to long. the Council asked to
see Ordinance in complete form,
Motion by Roy Ewen to pay bills.
Motion second by Robert Lowman.
Motion passed ayes 5 / noes 0.
