Present: Mayor Frank Dugger
Councilmen Dan Strong,Claud D. Whitaker, Mack Holloway,
Robert E. Lowman and LeRoy Ewen.
Ken Posey secretary for the Zoning Commission reported
no opposition on the rezoning of the Jack iiedgecoxe property, the
City Council will hold a public hearing; on this property February
6th 1969 7 :30 P.M.
Bills was presented by the City Secy.
Motion by Claud Whitaker to pay bills.
Motion sec. by Dan Strong. Motion passed ayes 4 noes 0.
Motion by LeRoy Ewen to pay the Fire Dept . for the Month
of december on the attandance record . Motion second by Mack
Holloway. Motion passed ayes 3 noes 0 - 1 obstained (Dan Strong) .
The City Council and Mr. Jack Parsons discussed a
RESOLUTION duly passed and approved by the City Council of the Town
of Allen, Texas on the 7th day of December 1967, with reference to
the JAN-MAR Development Company,Inc. for certain tax incentives,
in section 4 shows that the DEVELOPER is to pay an extra $50.00
with each permit fee for each dwelling unit.
Motion by Dan Strong, with the understanding that the above
contract and or resolution be "with-drawn and or cancelled", to
take the JAN-MAR Addition into the City Limits under the regular
form of taxation. Also the City of Allen agrees to return the
$50.00 per unite already paid in by the JAN-MAR Development Co. Inc.
and or give Mr. Jack Parson a Credit Memo to be used in the
future for permits from the City of Allen.
Motion second by Mack Holloway. Motion passed 4 for none against.
