Present : Mayor Frank Dugger
Councilmen: Mack Holloway, Bob Lowman, Roy Ewen,
G.D. Whitaker and Dan Strong,
Minutes of previous meeting read and approved.
Albert W. Cline appeared and asked about the clean-
ing and painting of the over head water tank at the City's
old well. Council advised Mr. Cline that he come back at a
later date, after Council had an opportunity to discussthis
with Walter Hicks the City Engineer.
W.M. Bailey appeared and asked about the possibility
of rezoning some property on Keith Drive so as to build a
Church building. After discussion, the council felt that they
could not approve this request since it would be in violation
of the building covenants of the Southwood Estates,
Motion Bob Lowman Second C.D. Whitaker that 4 Radar
signs be purchased to be placed in City. Motion approved 5
For 0 Against.
Walter Hicks, the City Engineer, discussed contracts
on the Water and Sewer system improvements. Mr Hicks recommended
to the Council that final payment be made on water well and
Engineer's Fee on contracts 885 & 886. Motion Bob Lowman
Second Dan Strong that City approve Engineer' s reccommendation.
Motion carried 5 For 0 Against .
Motion Dan Strong Sec and C .D. Whitaker that City
pay Stimson Construction Co. final payment on Sewer line
construction on line to Plano. Motion carried 5 For 0 Against.
Mr. Hicks presented copy of letter showing the
amount that the City of Plano owed the City on Sewer line
to Plano. Motion Dan Strong Second C.D. Whitaker that City
accept this letter. Motion carried 5 For 0 Against. Mr Hicks
suggested that he and Mayor Dugger go to Plano and present
this letter to the City of Plano.
Motion Roy Ewen Second Bob Lowman that City pay
list of bills presented. Motion Carried 5 For 0 Against.
Motion C. D. Whitaker Second Dan Strong that City
approve Order Establishing Procedure For City Officer 's
Election to be held on April 5. Motion Carried 5 For 0
Against.
Motion made and seconded that meeting adjourn.
