Present : Mayor Frank Dogger
Councilmen: Bob Lowman, Mack Holloway, Roy Eiden. and
C.D. Whitaker, Absent Dan Strong.
Minutes of previous meeting read and approved.
Motion C.D. Whitaker, Second Bob Lowman that City
and Little League officials meet and workout an agreement to-
ward the operation of the League for next year, also that any
expenditures by the City toward the operation of the Little
League for the remainder of this year, be taken on a bid basis
and approved by the Council. Motion Carried 4 For 0 Against,
Motion Bob Lowman, second Roy Ewen that City increase
the salaries of A.C. Story, E.F. Ereckson and Walter Curtis, $25.00
per month beginning August 1. Motion Carried 4 For 0 Against.
Council instructed City Secretary to advertise sale
of impounded cars . Notice to be run in Daily Courier Gazette
on July 25 & 27, Aug. 1 & 3 and 9 & 10, also in the Pennysavor
the last week of July and the First week of August . Sale to be
held August 16 at 10 :00 A.M.
Motion C.D. Whitaker Second Bob Lowman that the Bills
presented be paid. Motion Carried 4 For 0 Against.
Motion C.D. Whitaker Second Bob Lowman that City
contact some of our Real Estate Agents as to the availability
of at least 25 acres of land that the City could take option
on to buy, to be used in the future as a dump ground for City.
Motion Carried 4 For 0 Against.
Motion made and seconded that meeting be adjourned.
