Present : Mayor Frank Dugger
Councilmen: Dan Strong, LeRoy Ewen, Mack Holloway and
C.D. Whitaker. Bob Lowman Absent.
Minutes of previous meeting read and approved.
Motion Dan Strong, Second C .D. Whitaker that L.A.
Caldwell be granted a 21 day permit to erect a tent for worship
services on Lot 6 - Block J - Od, which is the property owned by
Mrs Stacy. Motion Carried 4 For 0 Against,
Motion LeRoy Ewen Second Mack Holloway That bills
presented be approved. Motion Carried 1 For 0 Against.
Robert McElyea, Charles Green and Steve Allen appeared
before council and asked information about garbage pickup from
the alleys in the Hillside Village Addition. Council agreed to
contact garbage contractor on this matter.
Clyde Marrs and D.D. berndt appeared and asked about the
possibility of the City installing a sewer line on Keith Drive.
Council advised Mr Marrs to see how many property owners were
in favor of running this line and paying their pro-rata cost
of such line and then the City would contact the City Engineer
and make a study of this matter.
Motion made and seconded that meeting be adjourned.
