Present : Mayor Frank Dugger
Councilmen: Robert E. Lowman, Dan Strong, Mack Holloway
and C.D. Whitaker. Absent : LeRoy Ewen.
Minutes of previous meeting read and approved .
Mayor Dugger reported that he had talked with City
Engineer on the possibility of constructing a sewer line on
Keith Drive.
Neil Holmes requested that the property that he now
owns on the East side of Highway 5 be rezoned from its present
zoning to Zone "A" or "B" . Council advised Mr.Holm to make app-
lication for rezoning by letter.
Motion Bob Lowman Second Dan Strong that bills pre-
sented be approved. Motion Carried 4 For 0 Against,
John Enloe and Sons appeared before Council and dis-
cussed the possibility of securing the Garbage contract from
the City.
Council advised that City check with T.P.&L. Engineer
about moving some of the street lights to different locations
throughout the City.
Chief of Police Jerry Burton asked about the possibility
of securing a new car and a Radar unit for the Police Department.
Motion O.D. Whitaker Second Bob Lowman that Chief Burton secure
3 bids on a new car and bring back to Council, Motion Carried 4
For 0 Against.
Motion made and seconded that meeting adjourn.
