Present : Mayor Frank Dugger
Councilmen: Dan Strong, Bob Lowman, LeRoy Ewen, Mack
Holloway and C. D. Whitaker.
Motion Dan Strong, Second C.D. Whitaker that minutes of
of previous meeting be approved . Motion Carried 5 For 0 Against .
City Engineer Walter Hicks was present and gave Council
a report on the bids received on the Boring contract under Highway
5, Mr. Hicks suggested to Council to wait untill Monday November 10
to see if any more bids were received and if not that the bid that
he had be accepted . Mr Hicks also read a letter from himself to Mr
Jack, Parsons that was written concerning the Streets and Drainage
problem in the Hillside Village Addition. At this time Mr Hicks
stated that he had not had a reply from Mr Parsons on this matter.
Motion Bob Lowman Second C.D. Whitaker that Council write
Mr Parsons and ask for a complete drainage and sewer and water line
plat be submitted to the Council on the entire acreage that would
be in the Hillside Village Addition. Motion Carried 5 For 0 Against.
Mr Leon Ussery, auditor for the City, appeared before Council
and presented the audit report for 1968-69 for Council to study. it
Ussery agreed to be present at the next Council meeting to answer
any questions the Council might have about the audit report .
Motion LeRoy Ewen Second C.D. Whitaker that bills present-
ed be approved. Motion Carried 5 For 0 Against.
Motion made and seconded that Council adjourn.
