RESOLUTION CANVASSING RETURNS AND DECLARING RESULTS OF
BOND ELECTION HELD June 30, 1979

WHEREAS, this governing body resolved and ordered t Pr
an election be held within this City on the_ day of ,
1979, for the purpose of submitting certain propositio
for the issuance of bonds to the resident electors of the
City; and
WHEREAS, it is hereby found and determined that said
election was held in accordance with the authorizing proceedings,
that notice of the election was duly given in the form,
manner and time required by law, and that said election was
in all respects legally held and conducted in accordance
with the laws of the State of Texas applicable thereto; and
WHEREAS, the returns of the said election have been
made to this governing body and said returns, duly and
legally made, show the following votes were cast on the
propositions submitted at said election, to wit:

THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF ALLEN, TEXAS:
SECTION 1: That all of the recitals contained in the
preamb e o t is resolution are found to be true and are
adopted as findings of fact by this governing body and as
part of its judgment.
SECTION 2: That it is further found and determined
that the results of the election as canvassed and tabulated
in the preamble hereof_ reflect the expressed desires of
those persons voting at said election.
SECTION 3: That a majority of the electors voting at
said election having voted in favor of propositions numbered
1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8 and 9, this City Council hereby
declares that it is authorized and empowered to issue bonds
of the City in the amount and for the purpose stated in said
propositions numbered 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8 and 9; all as
more fully set forth and identified in the proceedings
calling said bond election.
PASSED AND APPROVED, this the 2nd, day of July , 1979.

OF RESOLUTION CANVASSING RETURNS AND DECLARING
RESULT OF A CITY BOND ELECTION

CITY OF ALLEN §
ON THIS, the 2nd day of jul,1979, the City Council
of the City of Allen, Texas, convened in SPECIAL
session at the regular meeting place thereof in the City
Hall, the meeting being open to the public and notice of
said meeting, giving the date, hour, place and subject
thereof, having been given as prescribed by Article 6252-17,
Section 3A, V.A.T.C.S., the following members being present
and in attendance, to wit:

JOE FARMER MAYOR PRO TEM
GLEN ANDREW )
CHARLES CHANDLER )
H.R. DAUGHERTY ) ALDERMEN
REX WOMACK )
RICHARD L. CHUMBLEY )

constituting a quorum; and among of er usiness considered
at said meeting, a resolution was submitted to the City
Council for adoption and passage, such resolution being
entitled as follows:

The resolution was read in full. Thereupon, Alderman
Andrew moved for its adoption, and the motion was

it the adoption of the resolution prevailed by the following
vote:
AYES: Aldermen Farmer, Andrew, -, Daugherty,
Womack and Chumbley.
NOES: None.
The Presiding Officer announced that the resolution had
been passed and adopted.

WE, the undersigned, M. B. PIERSON and CHARLES CHANDLER,
yor and Councilmember, respectively, of the City of Allen,
Collin County, Texas, DO HEREBY CERTIFY that we were duly and
sufficiently notified, in advance, of the time, place and
!purpose of a special meeting of the City Council held on
(July 2, 1979, at which meeting the City Council passed a
resolution canvassing the returns and declaring result of
la bond election held on June 30, 1979, and that we consented,
lin advance, to the holding of such special meeting for such
jpurpose and DO HEREBY FURTHER WAIVE any and all irregularities
`to the holding of said meeting.
