City of Allen
A RESOLUTION BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF' ALLEN
AUTHORIZING THE CASTING OF BALLOTS FOR THE ELECTION OF
THE GOVERNING BOARD OF THE COLLIN COUNTY APPRAISAL DISTRICT
PURSUANT TO S.B. 621 THE "PEVETO BILL" THAT ESTABLISHES A
UNITARY TAX APPRAISAL DISTRICT FOR EACH COUNTY IN THE STATE
OF TEXAS.
WHEREAS; the Texas Legislature during the 66th session
passed S.B. 621 and it was signed into law by
the Governor of the State of Texas and,
WHEREAS; S.B. 621 establishes s unitary tax appraisal
district in each Texas county for the purpose
of providing a uniform appraisal system and,
WHEREAS; the City of Allen is authorized to participate
as a taxing jurisdiction in the election of the
appraisal district -'s -governing -board and,
WHEREAS; the City of Allen has been apportioned .2 -5S-
votes

votes for the purpose of electing the board,
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED:
1. The City of Allen casts its votes for

2. This Resolution will take effect immediately and
will be distributed to the County Clerk of Collin
County and other interested jurisdictions and
individuals.
