A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ALLEN, COLLIN
COUNTY, TEXAS, DECLARING THE RESULTS OF A RECOUNT FOR ALL
BALLOTS CAST FOR PLACE NO. 6 IN THE REGULAR CITY COUNCIL
ELECTION HELD ON APRIL 3, 1982.
WHEREAS, on April 6, 1982, Rex Womack, candidate for Place
No. 6 in the regular City Council Election held
on April 3, 1982, submitted an application for a
recount for all ballots cast for Place No. 6 in
the regular City Council Election held on April 3,
1982; and
WHEREAS, the Allen City Council appointed a recount committee
and set the date and time for a recount to commence
at,..1:00 p.m. on Monday, April 12, 1982 at the Allen
City Hall; and
WHEREAS, the recount committee consisting of Dr. John Horn,
Chairman, and Ed Lynge and Willette Rossen met -and
conducted an official recount of the ballots cast
for Place No. 6 in the regular City Council Election
held on April 3, 1982;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY_.COUNCIL_OF-THE=CITY
OF ALLEN, TEXAS, THAT based upon the results of the recount
conducted by the recount committee on April 12, 1982, the
following candidates in said election received the following
votes:

Accordingly, that Dennis 0. Offutt was duly elected to
