Absent: C. D. Whitaker.
Motion Johnnie Blankenship Second Bob Lowman that minutes of previous
meeting be approved as read. Motion Carried 4 For 0 Against.
Mr. J.D. Buchanan, Jr. appeared before Council to present data on calling
a Bond Election for improvements to the water and sewer system. Motion Bob
Lowman Second Johnny Pannell that a resoluation be adopted calling an election
for January 1$, 1972, authorising the issuance of $1,200,000.00 Water System
Improvement Bonds and $300,000.00 Sewer system Improvement Bonds. Motion Carried
4 For 0 Against.
Motion Bob Lamm Second Johnny Pannell that January 6, 1972 be set as date
for Public Hearing on the resorting request of Neil I. Holm on two Tracts of land
in the David Wetsel Survey. Hearing to be held in the Allen High School Gym.
Motion Carried 4 For 0 Against.
Motion Bob Lowman Second Clifford Hart that all bills presented be approved.
Motion Carried 4 For 0 Against.
Joe Dillard, Chairman of the Library Board, appeared before Council and
read a letter from the Texas State library Board, deKA%gtiqg the Allen Public
Library as a community library in the Dallas Major Resource System of the Texas
State Library System. Motion Bob Lowman Second Johnny Pannell that Resoluation
be adopted as to this request. Motion Carried 4 For 0 Against.
Motion Bob Lowman Second Johnny Pannell that meeting be adjourned.
Motion Carried 4 For 0 Against.
At this time Council adjourned to meet in closed Executive Session.
