Motion Bob Lowman Second Johnny Pannell that minutes of previous meeting
be approved as read. Motion Carried 4 For 0 Against.
Motion C.D. Whitaker Second Johnny Pannell that April 5th be set as date for
Public hearing on annexation request of Ziniova Dimitratus on 17.208 Acres Wn.
Perrin Survey, Abstract # 708. Motion Carried 4 For 0 Against,
Motion Bob Lowman Second Johnny Pannell that bills presented be approved.
Motion Carried 4 For 0 Against.
Motion C.D. Whitaker Second Clifford Hart that bid from Builders Hardware
on placing an awning over the front of the Polive Station be tabled. Motion
Carried 4 For 0 Against.
Motion Johnny Pannell Second Clifford Hart that bid on Liability Insurance
for the City vehicles presented by Gilliland Insurance Agency be approved for
the taming year. Motion Carried 4 For 0 Against.
Council agreed to employ Andy Ottoway as Animal Warden based on a 14 hour
week at $1.75 per hour and to furnish 2 tanks of gasoline for his pickup per
month.
Motion C.D. Whitaker Second Johnny Pannell that Homestead Exemptions for
residents over 65 years of age not be enacted for the 1973 Taxable year. Motion
Carried 4 For 0 Against.
Council agreed to advertise for bids on the City's Wrecker Service. Bids to
be restricted to Wrecker Services operating a business in the City. Specifications
to be obtained from the Police Department.
Motion Johnny Pannell Second C.D. Whitaker that meeting adjourn.
