Motion Bob Lowman Second C.D. Whitaker that minutes of previous meeting be
approved as read. Motion Carried 5 For 0 Against.
Public hearing was held on annexation request of Zinovia Dimitratus - 17.208
acres Abstract 708 Wm. Perrin Survey. There was no one present to oppose this re-
quest. Motion Johnny Pannell Second Clifford Hart that request be approved.
Motion Carried 5 For 0 Against.
Motion C.D. Whitaker Second Johnny Pannell that April 19th be set as date for
Public Hearing On annexation request of Thomas W. McGarity on 1.00 acre in the
Wm. Perrin Survey Abstract N 708. Motion Carried 5 For 0 Against.
Motion Johnny Pannell Second Bob Lowman that April 19th be set as date for
Public Hearing on a Special Exception request by James H. Howser to allow a pre-
school operation located at 502 West McDermott. Motion Carried 5 For 0 Against.
Motion Bob Lowman Second Johnny Pannell that Ordinance No 148 be adopted
regulating the making and repair of paving cuts made on City Streets. Motion
Carried 5 For 0 Against.
Motion Johnnie Blankenship Second Clifford Hart that Ordinance No 149 be
approved changing the zoning on Lots 3B -UB - Block 15 - Old Donation from R-16
to IR (Local Retail) Zoning. Motion Carried 5 For o Against.
Motion C.D. Whitaker Second Clifford Hart that the following reccomendation
of the Library Board be approved: The Library Board reccomends approval of the
following nominees to the board for 3 year terms; Dr. E.T. Hoon, Mrs Pat Parker,
continuing on the board for 2 year terms will be: Mrs Ramon Womack, Mrs Margie
Marion; for 1 year terms : Mrs Betty Lowman & Joe Dillard. Motion Carried 5 For
0 Against.
Motion Clifford Hart Second C.D. Whitaker that bills presented be approved.
Motion Carried 5 For 0 Against.
Walter F. Hicks, City Engineer, appeared before Council to present information
on electronic equipment required by the North Texas Municipal Water District to be
placed at the pump station on the water line now under construction. Mr. Hicks
advised that the City order this equipment and it be charged to the Contractor
on this project at a cost of $13,350.00. Council approved Mr. Hicks reccomendation.
Council also advised Mr. Hicks to print 25 zoning maps and 6 each of the Water
and sewer system maps to be sold_ to_ the public.
Motion C.D. Whitaker Second Clifford Hart that Jimmy Eaton be hired as
Water Supertendent at a salary of $500.00 per month effective April 1st. Motion
Carried 5 For 0 Against.
Motion Bob Lowman Second C.D. Whitaker that a complete set of Law Books
be purchased from the West Publishing Company at a price of $ 651.89. Motion
Carried 5 For 0 Against.

be allocated to the Fire Department retroactive to April let. Motion Carried
