Motion Bob Lowman Second Johnny Pannell that minutes of previous meeting
be approved as read. Motion Carried 4 For 0 Against.
After hearing a report from the Planning & Zoning Commission, Council set
July 5, 1973 as date for hearing on zoning change request of Zinovia Dimitratus
on 17.208 acres of land in the William Perrin Survey - Abstract #708 from R-2
Classifaction to PD Classi£action.
Motion Bob Lowman Second Johnny Pannell that Pat Michaels and Bill Kolander
be appointed as members of the Planning & Zoning Commission. Motion Carried 4 For
0 Against.
Jack Hammett appeared before Council and spoke of the drainage problem that
exists on his property. Council advised Mr. Hammett, with weather permitting,
this project would be finished before next Council Meeting.
Motion Bob Lowman Second Clifford Hart that July 19th be set as date for
Board of Equalization Meeting. Motion Carried 4 For 0 Against.
Motion Bob Lowman Second Clifford Hart that Texas Power & Light be author-
ized to erect street lights North along Highway 5 from Main Street to the gravel
road North of the High Meadow Addition. Motion Carried 4 For 0 Against.
Motion C.D. Whitaker Second Clifford Hart that W.J.C. Smith, Sr. be permitted
to place a walk in freezer in the garage at his residence. Motion Carried 4 For 0
Against.
Motion Bob Lowman Second Johnny Pannell that necessary equipment be purchased
for the Posting Machine now in operation. Motion Carried 4 For 0 Against.
Council voted to allocate $3200.00 to the Police Department and $4518.00
to the Fire Department from the first Revenue Sharing Report.
Water Superentendent Jim Eaton reported that it would cost approximately
$2200.00 to lay the water line along McDermott Street from South Ash to South
Cedar Street. Motion Clifford Hart Second Johnny Pannell_ that this line be laid.
Motion Carried 4 For 0 Against.
Motion Bob Lowman Second Johnny Pannell that meeting be adjourned.
Motion Carried 4 For 0 Against.
