Lowman & C.D. Whitaker.
Motion Bob Lowman Second Johnny Pannell that minutes of previous meeting
be approved as read. Motion Carried 5 For 0 Against.
Motion C.D. Whitaker Second Bob Lowman that Ordinance No 157 be approved
authorizing the Mayor to secure a loan of $32,000.00 from Exchange Savings & Loan
to purchase the C.L. Shelton property. Motion Carried 5 For 0 Against.
Motion Bob Lowman Second Johnny Pannell that bills presented be approved.
Motion Carried 5 For 0 Against.
William F. Chester appeared before Council in regard to securing a building
permit on property owned by him in the W.J. Jackson Survey. Council agreed to
issue a permit for this construction provided Mr Chester supplies the City with
a 5 foot sanitary sewer easement through this property. No Occupancy is to be
allowed untill easement is secured.
Request was made by the Developer of Walden Park Estates Subdivision
to allow the issuing of Building permits in this Subdivision before all streets
and utilities are accepted by the City. One section of Thoreau lane is incomplete
at this time. Council rejected this request because it is not in compliance with
the City's Subdivision Ordinance.
Motion C.D. Whitaker Second Clifford Hart that meeting adjourn. Motion
Carried 5 For 0 Against.
