Councilmen: C.D. Whitaker, Clifford Hart, Johnny Pannell, Johnnie
Blankenship & Bob Lowman.
Motion Bob Lowman Second Clifford Hart that minutes of previous meeting be
approved as read. Motion Carried 5 For 0 Against.
Motion Bob Lowman Second Clifford Hart that bills presented be approved.
Motion Carried 5 For 0 Against.
Dan Strong appeared before Council seeking a variance on the set -back lines
on Lot 33 Block E - Whis-Lynge Hills Addition. Motion Bob Lowman Second Johnnie
Blankenship that variance request be approved. Motion Carried 5 For 0 Against.
Don Stovall and Jack Winthrop appeared before Council asking the possibility
of the City participating in the cost of a water line running along Highway 75
from the North City Limits to Stacy Road. Council felt at this time the City was not
in a position to participate in this project.
Request was made by W.D. Sego that he be reimbursed the sum of $18.00 for
cleaning out a sewer line on his property. Council felt this stoppage was not in
the City's Main Sewer line since there had been no other complaints from citizens
in this area on the matter. Motion Bob Lowman Second Johnnie Blankenship that Mr.
Sego's request be denied. Motion Carrisd 5 For 0 Against.
Letter was presented to Council from County Judge Bill Proctor seeking the
Cities Participation in an Outreach Clinic in Collin County from the Wichita
Falls State Hospital and helping the Denton State School operate a school for
the mentally retarded children of our County. The Cities pro -rata share for this
operation would be approximately .05$ per capita. Motion C.D. Whitaker Second Johnny
Pannell that the City participate in this program. Motion Carried 5 For 0 Against.
Mr & Mrs Jerry Yates, who live in the Fountain Park Addition of the City,
appeared before Council and asked several questions concerning the operation of
the City; also questions concerning Mail Delivery service.
Motion Bob Lowman Second Johnny Pannell that me sting adjourn. Motion
Carried 5 For 0 Against.
