1. Call to Order and Announce a Quorum is Present.
With a quorum of the General Obligation Bond(GO) Steering Committee present,the Called Meeting
with the GO Bond Steering Committee was called to order by Chair Sedlacek at 6:30 p.m.on Monday,
May 22, 2023, in Room B 134 of the Allen ISD STEAM Center, 1680 Ridgeview Drive, Allen, Texas
75013.
2. Pledge of Allegiance.
3. Discuss Subcommittee Process.
Chair Sedlacek and the Committee members briefly discussed the outline for the Public Kickoff
Meeting and Subcommittee Work Sessions.
4. Recess to Public Kickoff Meeting.
Chair Sedlacek recessed the Steering Committee meeting at 6:45 p.m.
7:00 p.m. Engage Allen: 2023 Bond Public Kick-Off Meeting-Ellipse Theater
5. Welcome and Introductions.
Chair Sedlacek convened the Engage Allen: 2023 Bond Public Kick-Off Meeting at 7:00 p.m. in the
Ellipse Theater. She welcomed everyone to the meeting and introduced the Steering Committee
members.
6. Overview of Program Process and Upcoming Meeting Schedule.
Ms.Vail-Grube reviewed the process for the 2023 Bond Program and the upcoming meeting schedule.

7. Introduction to new Community Engagement Tool.
Ms. Aprill provided an overview of the new Community Engagement tool.
8. Presentation of Potential Projects to be Evaluated by Subcommittees.
9. Breakout into Subcommittee Work Sessions
Chair Sedlacek announced the breakout sessions.

10. Reconvene the Meeting of the GO Bond Steering Committee.
Chair Sedlacek reconvened the Steering Committee meeting in Room B 134 at 9:00 p.m.
11. Review and Discuss Findings from Subcommittee Meetings.
Chair Sedlacek and the Committee members briefly reviewed discussions from each of the
Subcommittee work sessions.
12. Discuss the Meeting Schedule.
Chair Sedlacek announced that the next meeting of the Steering Committee and Subcommittees would
be held on May 25, 2023.
13. Adjourn.
Chair Sedlacek adjourned the Called Meeting of the GO Bond Steering Committee at 9:22 p.m. on
Monday,May 22,2023.
