1. Call to Order and Announce a Ouorum is Present
With a quorum of the Community Development Corporation Board present, President
Howard called the Meeting to order at 7:00 p.m. on Monday, August 20, 2007, in the
Council Chambers.
2. Approve Minutes of the July 16, 2007, Meeting
Motion: Upon a motion by Board Member Chrisman and a second by Board
Member Simmons, the Board voted seven (7) for and none (0) opposed to
approve the minutes from the July 16, 2007, meeting. The motion carried.
3. Citizens' Comments
4. Conduct a Public Hearing Related to the Funding of an Event Center Through
the Issuance of V2 Cent Sales Tax CDC Bonds
President Howard opened the public hearing at 7:16 p.m. and asked anyone wishing
to speak for or against the item to do so at this time.
Conducted a Public Hearing, with Allen Citizen John L. Anschutz, of 1104 Larkspw,
Allen, TX speaking in opposition to the funding of an Event Center through the
issuance of V cent sales tax CDC Bonds.

With no one else wishing to speak, President Howard closed the public hearing at
7:19 p.m.

Motion: Upon a motion by Board Member Johnson and a second by Board

adjourn the meeting at 7:24 p.m. The motion carried.
