and H. C. Brooks, Jr.
Motion Bob Lowman Second Clifford Hart that minutes of last meeting be approved
as Read. Motion carried 5 for 0 against.
A letter from City Engineer Walter Hicks was read in reference to the infiltration
into thr sewer line which runs to Plano. Motion Mickey Pierson Second C.D. Whitaker
to proceed with the study of the infiltration problem. Motion carried 5 for
0 against.
Mr. Gifford Craig and James Crow appeared in reference to an apartment complex
they wanted to build in Allen. They advised that their units would have from
500 to 650 square feet in them. Council advised these men that they would
not approve of any apartments this size. Motion Mickey Pierson Second
C.D.Whitaker that the city stay with the 1000 sq. ft. minimum on apartments.
Motion carried 5 for 0 against.
A letter from Fox and Jacobs was read in reference to their spacing studs at
24 in. instead of 16 in. Motion Mickey Pierson Second C.D. Whitaker to leave
this decision at the discretion of the Building inspector. Motion carried. 4 for
1 against.
Motion Bob lawman Second Clifford Hart to make application for the City of Allen
to become a Bicentennial City. Motion carried 5 for 0 against.
Motion Clifford Hart Second H.C. Brooks, Jr., to pay the bills with the exception
of the one from ROCA Communications in reference to work on the base station.
Motion carried 5 for 0 aglsnt.
Motion Bob Lowman Second H.C. Brooks, Jr. to approve bid of Robert Tuscana
on reparirng alley between Lake Highland and Cypress. Motion carried 5for
0 against.
Motion Bob Lowman Second H.C. Brooks, Jr. that meeting adjourn. Motion carried 5 for
0 against.
