Whitaker Absent: Clifford Hart Motion Bob Lowman Second Mickey Pierson that minutes of last meeting be approved as read. Motion carried 4 for 0 against. Fire Chief Ron Gentry opened bids on a new fire truck. low bid was Boardman Co. with a bid of $42,075. Motion Bob Lowman Second Mickey Pierson to accept bid of Boardman Co. Motion carried 4 for 0 against. J.D. Buchanan appeared in reference to the bond election for street, alley and drainage repair. Motion CD WhitakerSecond Bob Lowman to adopt ordinance # 188 to approve bond election for $500,000.00 for street, and drainage. Motion carried 4 for 0 against. Dale Williams of Little League baseball presented his request for funds for the 1976 season. Motion Bob Lowman Second Mickey Pierson to approve $2601.00 for 1976 baseball. Motion carried 4 for 0 against. Larry Moore, of the Allen Junior Athletic Association, presented his request for funds for the 1976 football season. Motion Mickey Pierson Second Bob Lowman to approve $1000.00 for the present and if more funds are needed, Mr. Moore should appear before the Council. Motion carried 4 for 0 against. Collin County Sherriff Jerry Burton asked the Council if they had any specific ordinance regarding Campaign posters being placed in the City. Council advised that all they requested was that there should be no signs placed on any City property. Motion Mickey Pierson Second H.C. Brooks, Jr., to raise the dispatchers to $3.00 per hour if they would take all the Police and Court typing work . This is also dependent on approval of the Manpower offices. Motion carried 4 for 0 against. Motion Mickey Pierson Second Bob Lowman to pay bills. Motion carried 4 for 0 against. Council discusad the property owned by W.F.Chester shich is being used out of its proper zoning. Motion C.D. Whitaker Second Mickey Pierson to forward a letter to both Mr. Chester and to the renter of the property and give then 10 days to get the property cleaned up in reference to outside storage. Motion carried 4 for 0 against. Employees and Council discussed the raises and retirement system adopted by the Council. Council advised Fire Chief Ron Gentry to secure bids on walkie-talkies. Motion Bob Lowman Second H.C. Brooks, Jr., that meeting adjourn. Motion carried 4 for 0 against.
