Call to Order and Announce a Quorum is Present
With a quorum of the committee members present, the regular meeting of the Public Art
Committee was called to order by Chair Carroll at 6:15 p.m. on Tuesday, September 29, 2015 at
the Blue House Too, Watters Creek at Montgomery Farm, 934 Market Street, Allen, Texas.
Action Items
1. Approve minutes from the July 21, 2015 Regular Meeting
MOTION Upon a motion made by committee member Bennett and seconded by committee
member Gilbert, the committee voted seven (7) for and none (0) opposed to
accept minutes from the July 21, 2015 regular meeting as presented.
Discussion Items
2. Update on Ford Pool Mosaic Project
The Call to Artists is out and will close on September 30, 2015. Once the call closes the
Selection Panel will meet to review submissions and narrow down to 2-3 artists that will be
invited to prepare a conceptual design.
3. Update on Public Art Master Plan
Update is moving forward. The Public Art Committee was invited to join the Public An Master
Plan Advisory Committee on October 29, 2015 for a tour of Public Art in the area.

3. Discuss Watters Branch Park with Artists May and Watkins
The committee discussed the artist call and the project expectations with mists. In addition, the
Watters Branch Park site plan was reviewed and the artists took input on the vision for how an
could be incorporated into the project. The artists also asked questions and took feedback on the
community
