Motion Pierson, Second Tollett that minutes of last meeting be approved
as read. Motion carried 5 for 0 against.
Mayor Dugger read letter from Planning & Zoning Commission stating that
the request for changing zoning from TH to IR on the Henry S. Miller
property was denied.
Mayor Dogger set December 2, 1976 as date for a public hearing on zoning
change request for Henry S. Miller property on Hwy 5. Motion Brooks
Second Chandler. 5 for 0 against
Mayor Dogger set date for public hearing on annexation request from
Hank Dickerson for next city council meeting,being November 18, 1976.
Motion Brooks Second Pierson. 5 for 0 against
Discussion concerning extra trash pick-up days for items not normally
picked up. Southern Sanitation advised that they could provide a truck
and 3 men for $100.00 per day. The city to pursue clarification on type
of house hold items that Southern Sanitation will pick up.
' Ted Russell of American Tank & Tower appeared to request that his company
be allowed to inspect the old water tower for needed repairs.
Wallace Campbell of Hersey Company appeared in regard to future meter needs
and to inform the council that his prices would be increased after the let.
of the year. Motion Lowman Second Pierson that we order 504 meters and
that they be delivered at the rate of 126 meters at $28.00 each for 4 months,
beginning in May 1977. 5 for 0 against
Motion Brooks Second Tollett to pay bills as presented.
Motion Lowman Second Chandler to adjourn into executive session for
discussion with representives of all Sports organizations, in regards
to forming 1 organization. Also executive session to choose city clerk.
5 for 0 against.
