Motion Lowman Second Chandler to approve the minutes as read.
Motion carried 4 For 0 Against.
Public hearing was held on annexation of Hank Dickerson property
in the William Perrin Survey, Abstract 708. No one appeared
either For or Against. Motion Tollett Second Brooks to approve
the annexation. Motion carried 4 For 0 Against.
Mayor Dugger read letter from Planning and Zoning Secretary,
Jeanne Nance recommending the zoning request of Del Morton,
which was to change the zoning from AG to GI on the back 390'
of a 9.491 acre tract in the Peter Fisher Survey, with the
remainder zoned PD. Motion Lowman Second Chandler to set
December 2 as date for public bearing. 4 For 0 Against.
Planning and Zoning also recommended that one of the follow-
ing be chosen to fill the vacancy left by Tom Loutherback:
Newton Buckley, Derwin Mayberry, and Liz Mosley. Motion
Lowman Second Tollett for Derwin Mayberry to fill this vacancy
on the Planning and Zoning Board. Motion carried 4 For 0
' Against.
Councilman R.C. Brooks reported that the 1975 Ford Torino was
sold at Auction for $1300.
Tom Collier requested that some repair work be done on a low
place in the alley between Lake Highlands and Cypress. Mayor
Dugger advised him that Jimmy Eaton would see about this
problem.
Motion Lowman Second Tollett to pay bills as presented. 4 For
0 Against.
Motion Lowman Second Chandler to adjourn into Executive Session.
