R-3111-9-12' RESOLUTION NO. 3111-9-12(R) A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ALLEN, COLLIN COUNTY, TEXAS, ESTABLISHING ANNUAL CONTRACTOR REGISTRATION FEES IN ACCORDANCE WITH CHAPTER 4 OF THE CODE OF ORDINANCES AND SECTION 3.10 OF THE ALLEN LAND DEVELOPMENT CODE, AS AMENDED, AND BUILDING PERMIT AND INSPECTION FEES PURSUANT TO ARTICLE IH OF THE ALLEN LAND DEVELOPMENT CODE, AS AMENDED; AND PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE. WHEREAS, various sections of Chapter 4 of the Code of Ordinances, as amended, and Section 3.10 of the Allen Land Development Code, as amended, provides for the payment of an annual registration fee for contractors performing various trades or inspections within the City of Allen; and, WHEREAS, Article If "Building Regulations" of the Allen Land Development Code, as amended, provides for the assessment of fees and charges for the issuance of permits, performance of inspections, and provision of other services as described in said Article III; and, WHEREAS, in accordance with Chapter 4 of the Code of Ordinances and Section 1.09 of the Allen Land Development Code, as amended, the City Council desires to establish the fees and charges set forth herein. ' NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ALLEN, COLLIN COUNTY, TEXAS, THAT: SECTION 1. The City Council hereby adopts the fees and charges relating to the registration of contractors and building permit and inspection fees set forth in Exhibit "A," attached hereto and incorporated herein by reference, which fees and charges shall become a part of the City's official schedule of fees maintained by the Office of the City Secretary. SECTION 2. The resolutions of the City of Allen, Collin County, Texas, in conflict with the provisions of this resolution are hereby, repealed; provided, however, that all other provisions of said resolutions not in conflict with the provisions of this resolution shall remain in full force and effect. SECTION 3. This Resolution shall become effective immediately from and after its passage, provided, however, the fees and charges established herein shall take effect on its passage. CONTRACTORANSPECTOR REGISTRATION FEES The annual registration fee for all contractors who are required to be registered with the City pursuant to Section 3.10 of the Allen Land Development Code and/or Chapter 4 of the Code of Ordinances shall be $50.00 annually.
