Motion Brooks Second Piersonthat minutes of the previous meeting be ap-
proved. Motion carried 4 for 0 Against.
Motion Pierson Second Brooks that employee insurance be tabled until the
neat meeting. Motion carried 4 For 0 Against.
Robert Tod appeared representing Folsom Property and presented Site Plan
on proposed Shopping Center at the Northwest corner of Intersection of
Highway 5 and Main Street. Motion Pierson Second Tollett that the site
Plan be approved as presented. Motion carried 4 For 0 Against.
® David Morgan, Chairman of the Home Rule Study Committe appeared before
council to report on their work. Mr. Morgan had some questions as to the
procedure of securing members to serve on the Charter Committee. Mr. Morgan
suggested that a legal opinion be secured on how to go about securing
members of the committee. The Mayor suggested that a written opinion
be secured froi the Attorney General on this matter. Mr. Morgan
stated that after their study the committee reccomends that the City
pursue the Home Rule Question.
The question of Ambulance Service Contract with the City of McKinney was
discussed. Fire Chief Ronald Gentry spoke to the council and presented
information on this contract. MotionBrooks Second Tollett that the
contract written from Mekinney be disapproved. Motion carried 4 For
0 Against.
Motion Pierson Second Chandler that an Ordinance be adopted concerning
Storm Drainage Design. Motion carried 4 For 0 Against .
Motion CdaaJler Second Brooks that a Resolution be approved on a minimum
of an 8 inch water lines in all Sub -Division e, Retroactive to
October 20, 1977. Motion carried 4 For 0 Against.
Motion Pierson Second Chandler that a Public Hearing on Ereckson property
be set for the next regular meeting. Motion carried 4 For 0 Against.
Motion Pierson Second Chandler that a Public Hearing be set for the
next regular session .+ Motion carried 4 For 0 Against.FThis is a special
exception request for a Used Car Int.
Motion Pierson Second Chandler that zoning ordinance be amqnded to
eliminate R-6 zoning in the zoning ordinance and be placed. in P.D.
zoning. Also a minimum lot size of 65 feet frontage and a minimum lot

Bob Acker presented information on a Communications System, These are the
expenditures of the Department HeaABudget that will be used for the
Communications Systemf.Training Site $100, Travel $1000, Printing $100,
Salvage Covers $40Q, Deluge Nozzle $300, Fire Marshall Inspector $120, Training
and Travel $300, Capitol Outlay $300. Total $5500, Total Expenditure$14,000.
Council agreed for Mr. Acker to proceed with bids for this equiptment.
Motion Pierson Second Tollett that bill s be approved. Motion carried 4 For
0 Against.
Motion Brooks Second Pierson to adjourn. Motion carried 4 For 0 Against
