' A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ALLEN, COLLIN
COUNTY, TEXAS, ESTABLISHING FEES FOR THE RENTAL OF PAVILIONS AND
MISCELLANEOUS COMMUNITY ROOMS; PROVIDING A REPEALING CLAUSE;
AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, the City Council desires to establish fees for the rental of pavilions and miscellaneous
community rooms.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ALLEN,
COLLIN COUNTY, TEXAS, THAT:
SECTION 1. The City Council of the City of Allen, Texas, establishes the fees and charges set forth herein
for the rental of pavilions and miscellaneous community rooms:
Parks and Recreation Community Room:
Business Hours After Hours Deposit
Non -Profit or Resident $30/hour $501hour $50/$100**
For Profit or Non -Resident $60/hour $80/hour $50/$100**
Service Club (Allen Based) 50% discount off of fee structure Monday through Friday
' ** Deposit of $ I00 for rental with food service and $50 for non-food service rental.
The Allen Independent School District and partner organizations as recognized by the Parks and Recreation
Director will not be charged for rental of the Community Room.
Recreation Hail:
Business Hours After Hours Deposit
Non -Profit or Resident $40/hour $60/hour $50/$100**
For Profit or Non -Resident $601hour $80/hour $50/$100**
Service Club (Allen Based) 50% discount off of fee structure Monday through Friday
** Deposit of $100 for rental with food service and $50 for non-food service rental.
The Allen Independent School District and partner organizations m recognized by the Parks and Recreation
Director will not be charged for rental of Recreation Hall.
Definitions:
' "Business Hours" are defined as any rental occurring between the hours of 8 a.m. through 5 p.m., Monday
through Friday.
"After Hours" are defined as any rental occurring between 5 p.m. through 10 p.m., Monday through Friday
and 8 a.m. through 10 p.m. Saturday through Sunday.
"Service Club or Organizations" mean those organizations or clubs who are based in the City of Allen and
' chartered through a nationally recognized organization providing community service for the citizens of Allen
and surrounding communities.
Allen Senior Recreation Center Multi-purpose Roam:
Multi -Purpose Room *
Multi -Purpose Room per section (3 sections)
Hourly Rate Deposit
$225/hour $300
$75/hour $100/section
(2 or more sections)
$100/hour
(1 section)
Set-up/ Take-down Fee $75/hour (minimum 2 hours)
*Membership activities and programs will receive priority use.
Pavilion Rental.
Resident Non -Resident Deposit
Level l (2 hour minimum) $40/hour $80/hour $50
Level II (2 hour minimum) $25/hour $50/hour $50
' Level III (2 hour minimum) $15/hour $30/hour $50
The Allen Independent School District and partner organizations as recognized by the Parks and Recreation
Director will not be charged for rental of pavilions.
Definitions:
"Level P pavilions can support groups larger than 75 persons and are typically located within Community
Parks.
"Level W' pavilions can support groups between of 25 to 75 persons and are located in a variety of
Community and Neighborhood Parks.
"Level IIP" pavilions can support groups up to 30 persons and are located in Neighborhood Parks.
Lakeside Clubhouse:

The Allen Independent School District and partner organizations as recognized by the Parks and Recreation
Director will not be charged for rental of the Lakeside Clubhouse.
' SECTION 2. Resolutions of the City of Allen, Collin County, Texas, in conflict with the provisions of this
resolution are hereby, repealed; provided, however that all other provisions of said resolutions not in conflict
with the provisions of this resolution shall remain in full force and effect.

SECTION 3. This resolution shall become effective immediately upon its passage.
