' A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ALLEN, COLLIN
COUNTY, TEXAS, APPROVING THE 2001 APPRAISAL ROLL AS APPROVED BY
THE COLLIN COUNTY APPRAISAL REVIEW BOARD; AND PROVIDING AN
EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, under Section 26.09 (e) of the Texas Property Tax Code, on receipt of notice of the tax rate for
the current year, the assessor for a taxing unit shall calculate the tax imposed on each property included on the
appraisal roll for the unit; and,
WHEREAS, under Section 26.09 (e) of the Texas Property Tax Code, the tax assessor for the City is
required to calculate and enter the amount of tax in the appropriate roll and submit it to the governing body of the
City for approval; and,
WHEREAS, a statement summary of said 2001 Tax Roll is attached hereto as Exhibit "A."
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ALLEN,
COLLIN COUNTY, TEXAS THAT:
SECTION 1: The 2001 Appraisal Roll, as submitted by the City Tax Assessor Collector and accepted by the
City Council, is hereby accepted as the 2001 Tax Roll for the City.
' SECTION 2: This resolution shall take effective immediately upon its adoption.
DULY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ALLEN, COLLIN COUNTY,
TEXAS, ON THIS THE ETM DAY OF DECEMBER, 2001.
