' A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ALLEN, COLLIN
COUNTY, TEXAS, ESTABLISHING FILING FEES AND CHARGES FOR
APPLICATIONS FILED WITH THE PLANNING AND ZONING COMMISSION,
BOARD OF ADJUSTMENT, AND CITY STAFF FOR ZONING AMENDMENTS OR
CHANGES, APPEALS, VARIANCES, OR TEMPORARY USE PERMITS; AND
PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, the Comprehensive Zoning Ordinance of the City of Allen, Texas requires applications to the
Planning and Zoning Commission and City Council for zoning amendments and changes; and
WHEREAS, the Comprehensive Zoning Ordinance of the City of Allen, Texas, requires applications to
the Board of Adjustment for approval of a variance or anappeal; and
WHEREAS, the Comprehensive Zoning Ordinance of the City of Allen, Texas, requires City staff
approval for all temporary use permits; and
WHEREAS, the Comprehensive Zoning Ordinance of the City of Allen, Texas, authorizes the City
Council to establish fees and charges for applications for zoning changes or amendments, variances,
appeals and temporary use permits; and
WHEREAS, the City Council desires to establish filing fees and charges for the aforementioned
requirements;
' NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ALLEN,
COLLIN COUNTY, TEXAS:
SECTION 1. That the following nonrefundable fees and charges shall be paid to the City at the time an
application, request, petition, or appeal is tendered to the Planning and Zoning Commission or any other
authorized board, agency, or official of the City. No action of the City Council, Planning and Zoning
Commission, or any other board, agency, or official of the City shall be valid unless and until the fees and
charges shall have been paid therefore to the City, regardless of the action taken by the City Council,
Planning and Zoning Commission or any other board, agency, or official of the City. Such fees and
charges are not required for any amendment, change, or other action initiated by the City.
All oortiom of an acre shall be considered a full acre when determining the cost for filing.
Amendment or Change - For any application for amendment or change to this Zoning
Ordinance, including change in zoning district boundaries, change in use, Planned
Development, Specific Use Permit, removal or change in Flood Plain designation, or other
amendment:
a. Residential - $500 plus $10 per acre
b. Non-residential - $500 plus $10 per acre

C. Specific Use Permit - $350 plus $10 per acre
d. Specific Use Permit for any portion of an existing building - $250
e. Planned Development - $500 plus $10 per acre
f. Zoning Notification Sign - $189.45
2. For consideration of any appeal or variance by the Board of Adjustment:
a. Appeal, exception, or variance by the Board of Adjustment requiring a single
decision - $100
b. Appeal, exception, or variance by the Board of Adjustment requiring multiple
actions or decisions - $100 per single action, plus $10 per each additional action.
3. Temporary Use Permit - For such temporary uses as may be permitted or granted by the
Director of Planning of the City - $100.00 per permit or extension of permit.
Section 2. This Resolution shall become effective immediately from and after its passage.

COUNTY, TEXAS, ON THIS THE 15- DAY OF JULY, 1999.
