TOWN OF ALLEN, ORDINANCE NO 2
An Ordinance passed by the City Council of the City of
Allen, County of Collin, Texas, July 27, 1953, for the pur-
pose of changing the name of streets that were already named
within the city limits of the City of Allen, Texas, and de-
signating streets that were not named,
This Ordinance provides that beginning at the railroad
going East the streets shall be known as Avenue A- B - C -
D East, to the city limits.
Streets West of TkNO Railroad shall be known as Avenub
A - B - C - D West, to the city limits.
That the streets which parallel said railroad shall be
known as East Avenue A and West Avenue A.
That Imlah Street onthe old town plot be hereafter
known as East Ave, B.
That Jabin Street shall be known as East Avenue C.
That Labana Street shall be known as East Avenue D.
That Hashum Street be hereafter known as West Avenue B.
That Gahan Street be hereafter known as West Avenue C.
That the street following West of Avenue C West shall
take the name of D, and others in succession.
Provisions are made that Cola Street from the old town
plot be hareaftet known as First Street, and all streets
South of First Street shall be known as South Second, Third,
Fourth,etc.
That Dishon Street of the old town plot be hereafter
known as South Second Street,
That Esther Street be known as South Third,
North of First Street that Balamo Street be known as
North Second Street,
That Albano Street be known as North Third Street, and
that other streets be named in succession With Fourth, Fifth,
Sixth, etc.
