PROVIDING FOR THE ANNEXATION TO THE TOWN OF ALLEN, TEXAS,
ACRES IN THE WILLIAM PERRIN SURVEY ABS7RM
A CERTAIN 77.1411.
ACT # 708, COLLIN COUNTY, TEXAS, CONTIGUOUS AND ADJACENT
TO SAID TOWN, AS FULLY DESCRIBED IN SAID ORDINANCE, UPON
PETITION DULY PRESENTED BY THE OWNER OF SAID TERRITORY
AND GRANTED BY THE CITY COUNCIL, WHICH TERRITORY SO AN-
NEXED IS VACANT AND WITHOUT RESIDENTS AND ON WHICH LESS
THAN THREE QUALIFIED VOTERS RESIDE.°
WHEREAS, the SOUTHWOOD ESTATES, INC., Sole Owner of the follow-
ing described property which adjoins the Town of Allen, and is not
more than one-half mile in width, has, duly petitioned the City
Council'of the Town of Allen, Texas, to extend the present City
limits so as to include said territory as a part of the Town of
Allen, Texas, to -wit:
Being 77.4 acres out of the William PERRIN SURVEY,
RBST. #70tl, and being land out of a tract of 84.03
acres described in deed from Homer Cuffman, at ux,
to Roy Reynolds, at ux, dated July 11, 1951'and re-
corded in Vol. 434, page 100 of the Collin ounty
Deed Records:
BEGINNING at a stake at the Southwest corner of the
said 84.03 acre tract;
THENCE North 21-1/4 deg. East 1371.5 ft. with the
East line of the H. and T. C. RR to a stake at the
Southwest corner of the tract formerly owned by the
Farmers Gin Co.;
THENCE South 88-3/4 deg. East 205.2 feet to a stake
at fence corner;
THENCE North 22-1/2 deg. East 310.9 ft. to a stake
at fence corner;
THENCE South 89-3/4 deg. East 291.1 ft. to a stake at
fence corner;
THENCE North 3/4 deg. East 204.6 fto to a stake at
fence corner;
THENCE North 89/3/4 deg. East 40 ft. to a stake in
fence;
THENCE South 3/4 deg. West 317.2 ft. to a stake in
field;
THENCE North 89-3/4 deg. East 334 ft. to a stake in
field;
THENCE North 1/4 deg. East 322 ft. to a stake;
THENCE North 89-3/4 deg. East 40 ft, to a stake;
THENCE South 1/4 deg. West 100 ft. to a stake;
THENCE North 89-3/4 deg. East 50 ft. to a stake;

Cottonwood Creek to a stake in the West line of U. S.
Highway 75;
THENCE South 30-1/4 deg. West 1477.7 ft. with the West
_ line of U. S. Highway 75 to a stake at the Southeast
corner of the said 84.03 acre tract;
THENCE South 88 deg. West 169 ft. to a stake in fence;
THENCE North 89-1/2 deg. West 118.8ft. to a stake in
fence;
THENCE North 89-3/4 deg. West 234.3 ft. to a stake in
fence;
THENCE South 89-3/4 deg. West 74.6 ft. to a stake in
fence;
THENCE North 77-3/4 deg. West 54.8 ft. to a stake in
fence•
THENCE South 89-1/2 deg. West 112.9 ft. to a stake in
fence;
THENCE North 89-1/2 deg. West 793.3 ft. to a stake in
fence;
THENCE West 660 feet to the place of beginning, contain-
ing 78.31 acres of land;
WHEREAS, said petition has been accepted by the City Council
of Allen, Texas, and meets all the requirements of the law, and
whereas, it is the desire of these said parties that such area be
a part of the Corporate limits of the Town of Allen, Texas,
NOW, BE IT THEREFORE ORDAINED that the above described
territory, be and the same is hereby annexed to, and made a part
of the Town of Allen, Texas, and the boundary of the said Town of
Allen, Texas, is extended to include the above described territory
within the Town of Allen, Collin County, Texas, and the inhabitants
thereof shall hereafter be entitled to all the rights and privileges
of other citizens of the Town of Allen, and they shall be bound by
all ordinances and laws, regulations and resolutions of the Town of
Allen,Texas.
Upon a motion by Councilman Rel A. Hefner and duly
seconded by Councilman Fred Day and by a unanimous
vote of the members of the City Council of Allen, Favoring such motion,
including the following members in attendance gay A. Hefner ,
