TOWN OF ALLEN, TEXAS ORDINANCE NO. 41
AN ORDIN.'NCE AMENDING THE CORPORATE LIMITS OF THE TOWN OF
ALLRJ, ANNEXING CERTAIN TERRITORY CONTIGUOUS TO AND ADJOINING
THE TOWN OF ALLEN, AND PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE OF
THIS OiDINANCE
WHEREAS, the growth and development of the area adjacent to
the Town of Allen is progressing at a rapid rate and this
development 1s expected to continue in the future, and
WHEREAS, the protection of the public health and general
welfare of the people of the Town of Allen requires that
such development be in an orderly manner and controlled by
the Town of Allen;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED By THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
TOW?] OF ALLEN:
SECTION I. That after the third and final passage of this
Ordinance the boundary limits of the Town of Allen shall
be described as amended to include:
SITUATED in Collin County, Texas, and being a strip of
of land 5 feet wide on either side of a center line,
which center line is described as follows:
BEGI1N:ING at the intersection of the North line of the
Present corporate limits of the town of Allen with the
center line of the North traffic lane of U.S. Highway 75;
THENCE in a Northerly direction With the center line of
said North traffic lane of U.S. Highway 75 to the inter-
section of said center line with Weisel Road;
THENCE in an Easterly direction with the conter line of
Wetsol Road to its intersection with the center line of
.. Farm-to-Mcrket Road 1378;
THE;?CE in a Southerly direction with the center line
Of Farm -to -Market Road 1378 to its intersection with
the gravel road on the right, which road 1s West of and
follows the meanders of White Rock Creek to the inter-
section of such gravel road and Farm -to -Market Road 2170:
THENCE in a Westerly direction with the center line of
Farm-to-14arket Road 2170 to its intersection with Farm -
to -Market Road 2551;
9IENCE South With the center line of Farm -to -Market Road
2551 to Its Intersection with Parker Road;
THENCE in a Westerly direction with the center line of
Parker Road to its intersection with the first gravel
road on the North of Parker Road, which gravel road is
here designated as Allen Rights Drive;
THENCE in a Northerly direction with the center line of
Allen Hights to its the

THENCE in a Westerly direction with the center line of
Farm -to -Market Road 2170 to the present city limits of
the Town of Allen.
SECTION 2. 1fter the effective date of this Ordinance all
property Included within the areas described in Section 1
hereof shall be a part of the Town of Allen and shall bear
its proportionate part of the taxes levied by the Town of
Allen. and the inhabitants hereof shall be entitled to all
the rights Ond privileges of all citizens and shall be be end
by the Aeta, Ordinances and Resolutions of the City.
SECTION 3. This Ordinance to be read and approved by the
Cit? Council of the Town of Allen at three (3) separate,
reSular meetings and such Ordinance shall be recorded in the
OfPioe of the County Clerk of Collin County, Texas, and shall
be effective immediately after its third and final reading.
