AN ORDINANCE ELECTING B. J. ENLOE AS COUNCILMAN,
PLACE _, TO COMPLETE THE UNEXPIRED TERM OF
J• D. Smit AND PROVIDING FOR AN
THAT WHEREAS, the office of Councilman, Place ,
has become vacant by reason of the resignation of
J. D. Smith , and
WHEREAS, on the 28thday of January„ 1964, at the
special meeting of the City Council, the Mayor called
for nominations for Councilman, Place , to fill the
unexpired term of J. D. Smith , and
WHEREAS, Councilman Phil Pringle
nominated B. J. Enloe, which nomination was seconded
by Councilman Talmadge Oxford , and
WHEREAS, there were no other nominations and B. J.
Enloe was elected unanimously.
NOV, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF
THE TOWN OF ALLEN, TEXAS:
SECTION I: That B. J. Enloe is elected Councilman,
Place _, on the Council of the Town of Allen, Texas,
to fill the unexpired term of .T - n_ Smith
upon his qualifying as provided by law, shall ascend
to such office.
SECTION II: This Ordinance shall take effect immediately
upon its passage.
Duly passed and approved by the COUNCIL OF THE TOWN
OF ALLEN, TEXAS on the l day of February, 1964.
